A Little About Us
Our aim is to promote the UK orchid hobby so that people can continue to enjoy and grow orchids now, and in the future. We publicise our members and their events on this website. Societies have shows around the UK and support British trade. We organise a training programme for British Orchid Council show judges. Our aim is to support orchid conservation initiatives for the UK’s and World orchids.
So, who are our members? They include British Orchid Societies, National Botanic Gardens at Kew, Glasgow, Chester Zoo, The Eric Young Orchid Foundation in Jersey, The Mathers Orchid Foundation and the RHS.
On this website you will be able to find out what is going on in the orchid world – perhaps we can encourage you to visit shows, enjoy the orchids and get in touch with your local society!
