Orchid Society of Great Britain Members Only Plant Auction

Founded in 1951, The Orchid Society of Great Britain (OSGB) will mark its 75th anniversary in 2026. To kick off the year, the Society hosts its annual winter auction where members can buy rare and unusual orchids or sell their surplus plants.

This event is a wonderful chance for OSGB members to exchange plants or find a great deal. Recent auctions have featured orchids that are no longer available commercially, so you may have an opportunity to acquire something special from your wish list. If you’re not yet a member, you can find information on joining the Society here or just join on the day.

Doors open at 1:30pm, and anyone selling plants must register them before the auction begins at 2:00pm. Members are allowed to bring up to eight lots (or twelve for joint members), and can set a minimum bid or reserve price if desired. Please note that 10% of each sale goes to the Society.
